游戏发行商Iceberg Interactive于日前发表了以风帆船为主题的航海模拟游戏《Sail Simulator 2010》。这款游戏将由专精于海事模拟的荷兰厂商Stentec Software工作室进行研发，并且预定今年2月底就会在英国丶冰岛丶法国丶北欧丶德国丶奥地利与瑞士等地区正式上市。
《Sail Simulator 2010》是属于「Sail Simulator」系列的最新作品，前作是《Sail Simulator 5》，并且于去年12月底才刚推出v5.1.6.0版的更新。发行商宣称《Sail Simulator 2010》将会是目前最专业的航海模拟游戏，不仅会呈现最精美的画面品质，同时也要满足航海迷们的海上航行乐趣，并希望借以吸引更多玩家加入风帆模拟竞速的游戏社群。
根据消息来源指出，《Sail Simulator 2010》除了在游戏画面的品质比前代更上一层楼之外，玩家可以驾驶更多种类与款式的风帆船，并且在游戏中接受基本平衡与赛船的训练。多人线上竞速航海的模式也更为开放且有组织，玩家可以建立自己设计的竞赛航线与天气状况，游戏中也加入了评等系统，让玩家了解自己的实力，并且向成绩优异的其他水手挑战，迈向世界顶尖风帆好手之路。
风帆艇的种类更加多样，包括Laser丶470丶Valk丶VOR70丶Bavaria 36与YD40等；同时游戏中也收录多个巡航区域，像是Scheveningen丶Cabrera丶Koh Hong与Treasure Island等地区。
