《The Whispered World》是一项由德国一名叫做Marco Hüllen的学习平面造型设计的学生开发的项目。为何只有一个人开发的游戏会让我们觉得有价值去关注呢？独立自主开发冒险游戏的发展历史告诉我们这实际上是相当值得的。
《The Whispered World》讲述了一个叫做Sadwick的小男孩的故事。他和他的家人流落到乡村，住在一个马戏团的四轮马车上，靠扮演小丑为生。一天晚上 Sadwick做了个梦，一个蓝色的灵魂告诉他要做好去旅行的准备，一段寻找生命意义的启发的伟大旅程，因为仅靠扮演小丑的生活并不能算是一个非常值得满足的人生。所以他离开了家，尝试去查出这个非同寻常的秘密。一段穿越奇幻世界的旅程开始了。
