The ultimate high-energy cook-off as four culinary challengers battle it out with the Iron Chefs before a panel of food experts
Series Summary
The cult cookery competition from Japan comes to the UK. Each day a team of four eager challengers enter the Kitchen Stadium, a culinary battle ground presided over by The Chairman, where four of the UK's most notable and competitive chefs, Martin Blunos, Judy Joo, Sanjay Dwivedi and Tom Aikens, await them.
Each programme one of the Iron Chefs takes on the team of challengers in the ultimate high energy high octane cook off. The dishes they must prepare are then judged by expert food critics, with the winner declared at the end of the show.
A week of programmes culminates in a grand Friday Final where the best contenders of the week go head to head with the strongest Iron Chefs of the week. And if the challenger wins the cook-off, they pocket £1,000.
The show is presented by wine expert Olly Smith, with input from Michelin-starred chef Nick Nairn.
