离开京都前一晚，教授在先斗町的夜色里为我践行，怀石料理和日本清酒将我们重重包围，举杯投箸之间，他却丝毫不问三个星期来论文的进展程度，只是不住感慨我对日本历史文化的浓厚兴趣。于我的期望不在学界而在社会，在中国的发展与繁荣。鸭川从身旁静静流过，屋外灯影沉沉，我却只觉手中的酒杯似有千钧之力。第二天，整装启程，从京都搭乘Haruka前往关西空港。车窗外，天高而清远，正是登山的好时节。不禁想到几天前，也是在这样一个晴空万里的日子，独自一人前往京都西郊的岚山。夏日中的岚山，满目翠茂，我从渡月桥溯大堰川而行，去寻访上世纪的一段往事。八十九年前，应该也有一个少年沿同样的道路登上岚山吧，只是那时正值初春时分，细雨霏霏，模糊了眼前的路。忽而一线阳光穿云而出，使少年看到光明，于是他下得山去，登上返国的航船。在海的那一边，五四运动正如燎原烈火般席卷着中华大地。又一个甲子过去，昔日的少年早已撒手人寰，而景仰他的日本人民却将这个少年的名字和他年少时的诗作永远镌刻在岚山。周恩来总理『雨中岚山』的诗碑在林木深处默然矗立，她的脚下，大堰川波涛滚滚，正奔流向前。好一个清幽的所在。但为什么，我却分明于这清幽之中感到一股人间英雄气正在驰骋纵横。
于是，我下得山来，打点行装，开始了新的征程。
