作为多渠道的零售商,REI不仅在全美27个州内拥有100个零售店铺,直销渠道和在线业务也颇具规模。本周早些时候,该公司结束了近两个月的合作伙伴的甄选工作。这些被选中的代理除了将继续支持REI在广播,报纸,户外的传统广告模式外,还将配合其在数字/互动类节目上的推广,以弥补在线业务的不足。其中BBDO Atlanta 公司将负责REI公司广告方针的制定及实施;Prometheus将主管其媒介推广及在线订单的处理。

Seattle, WA, December 20th, 2007 - Recreational Equipment, Inc (REI), a national retail cooperative providing quality gear and clothing, has awarded its national creative advertising and media buying accounts to BBDO Atlanta and Prometheus Media Services respectively.
As a multi-channel retailer with nearly 100 stores in 27 states and a direct sales division with catalog and online operations, the company completed its nearly two-month closed agency review process earlier this week. The selected agencies will support REI's traditional advertising programs of radio, newspaper outdoor, as well as digital/interactive programs that complement the company's online marketing efforts. BBDO Atlanta will provide strategic planning, creative and implementation of advertising programs and Prometheus will service the company's media planning and buying requirements.
