After deciding to retire from comics, Roger turned to writing - producing a novel adaptation ofGravestown(an earlier comic) and a science fiction thriller calledLoop.

Vince Danks' early career began withRedfoxby Chris Bell and Fox for Valkyrie Press. From there, he worked onDr Who Monthly, theRed Dwarf Smegazineand for Marvel UK. In 1997 he set up Ariel Press to publishSapphire, a paranormal espionage story.

Having previously worked together onSapphire,Harkerwas born of Vince & Roger's mutual desire to create a comic that felt 'like a good Saturday night's TV'.
