When forced to give up eating his favorite volumes, Henry eventually learns to enjoy reading them. However, an actual bite taken out of the back cover suggests he still succumbs to the occasional indulgence. This well-done package will charm its audience. The snappy text works well for reading aloud, but older children will enjoy exploring the subtle details hidden in the illustrations and backgrounds.
作者简介：
OLIVER JEFFERS, is a Northern Irish painter, writer, and reader who graduated from the University of Ulster and has exhibited his art in London, New York, Sydney, Belfast and Glengormley. Oliver has never eaten a book, although he thought about it once. He ate Weetabix instead, and fed a book to his younger brother. It did not make his brother smarter, but it did encourage him to recycle after three or four days. Oliver Jeffers's first picture book, How to Catch a Star, was an immediate international success. His second book, Lost and Found, has been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal and was the recipient of the Nestle Children's Book Prize Gold Award.
