Since 1989,1he has worked with China’s senior leaders and advised the Chinese government. He works with multinational companies on China strategies and with Chinese companies on capital markets transactions. He is senior adviser, Citigroup, and partner in CCTV-IMG Sports Management Company in China.

Dr. Kuhn writes and speaks about China’s politics and economy and the philosophies and policies of its senior leaders (e.g.,BusinessWeek). He has visited more than 40 cities in over 20 provinces and regions in China and is said to be the first foreigner to lecture on President Hu Jintao’s Scientific Perspective on Development. He is the author ofThe Man Who Changed China: The Life and Legacy of Jiang Zemin, the first biography of a living Chinese leader to be published on the Chinese mainland and China’s bestselling book in 2005.
