Corporal punishment serves as a foundation of a child's success by making the child aware of what kind of behavior is correct and appropirate. The mentality of a child is immature,and his/her Weltanschauung remains yet to be developed. As a result, he/she cannot distinguish between right and wrong, nor can he/she understand the lecture of his/her seniors. Therefore, proper coporal punishment is justifiable and necessary at this stage, without which a child's misconduct would otherwise be fostered which can even result in juvenile deliquency.
Coporal punishment severely violates the legitimate rights of a child that are statutorily protected in any country. Even parents are not allowed to beat or curse their children at will, as such behavior is absolutely unlawful.
