Tim,a ten-year-old pupil, was poor at his study.He would rather kill the time than finish his homework in his spare time. He seldom did his homework and when he did, he always made a lot of mistakes.
Then one day, after checking Tim's homework his mathematics teacher found that Tim had got all the answers right. He was very pleased—and also surprised. He called Tim to his desk and said to him, 'You got all your answers right this time, Tim. What happened? Did your father help you?'
Usually Tim’s father did help him with his homework, but the evening before this, he had not been able to, because he had not been at home, so Tim answered, 'No, sir. He was busy last night, so I had to do it all myself.'

to that tim replied truthfully, normally he does, but his father had not been home last night, so he didn't receive any help from him.

there is this very pretty and famous actress, she is the new star of this musical show. she has a house in the far away country, but it was unconvinient for her to go back every night, so she decided to rent an expensive flat in the centre of the city, and she bought some new beautiful furniture with her, also, she hired a man to paint her rooms in a new colour.
the show was very popular, therefore the tickets had been extremely hard to get. the actress gave the painter a tickets to the best seats, and she hoped this way he would work more willingly and achieve the best results for her. the painter took the tickets without saying anything, and he said no more until the end of the month, where she recieved the bill. on the bottom, there was a row of words:'four hours of watching ms Hall sing and dance, $3.' with it was a note:'after 5pm, i get 15 shillings an hour instead of 10.'

A famous actress newly rented a house near her working place, because it was time-consuming to go back home which was far away from her working spot.She wanted it to be well furnished and had hired a man to paint the wall.To make sure that the man was doing a good job, the actress gave him two tickets for the best seats which were hard to obtain ,because she was so popuolar.The man showed no sign of gratitude or anything. Then it came the paying day,the actress got charged more than she thought . Here was the painter's saying that he had to work after 5p.m.when he had finished watching the actress show,and thus, he had to charge more.
