Score 1.1 Vote: [-] [+] by Lashrac606, 14.2 days ago These items drop from end-game instances, the 25 man raids. There are a total of 3 different kinds of sets, for each tier. Which I'll sum up here.
For every class Tier 4 is from 'fallen' Teir 5 is from 'Vanquished'
(i.e. leggings of the fallen hero = Tier 4 leggings, leggings of the vanquished defender = Tier 5 leggings)
Mage / Warlock / Hunter = The 'Hero' sets
Paladin / Rogue / Shaman - The 'Champion' sets
Warrior / Priest / Druid - The 'Defender' sets
In Beta you could expect the Tier 4 ('Fallen') pieces to drop in 'Serpenshrine Cavern' and 'The Eye', Records show that they could also drop from lower areas, such as Magtheridon's Lair, Gruul's Lair, and Karazhan (only a 10 man).
Tier 5 drops mainly from 'Battle for Mount Hyjal' and 'Black Temple'.
When you get one of these pieces, you go to the faction you are allied with in Shattrath (Terrokar Forest), either the Aldor or the Scyers. There you can turn in the piece to obtain the Tier 4/5 armor for your class.
