(BEIJING, Aug. 28) -- Compatriots of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, overseas Chinese, students studying abroad and foreigners who wish to become volunteers for the 2008 Olympic Games can start submitting application from March, 2007.
According to the Guide to Application, the Games-time volunteers' recruitment is divided into three stages, with applications from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas included in the third stage.
Review of application materials and selection of volunteers will also be conducted by stages. Whether the application arrives first or last, the opportunities are equal and fair.
First stage application process deals with applications from Beijing area. Launched on August 28, 2006, it marked the beginning of the implementation of the Beijing Olympic volunteer program. In the second stage, application starts in December 2006 in provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
The application process for all stages will conclude at the end of March 2008.
To be honest. I really want to be a volunteer in Beijing Olympic Game. Because it is my proud for being a Chinese. If you ask me what is the relathionship between The Olympic and I. I will say I am a part of it. I really want to join in this big event. So I hope I will go to Beijing in 2008. I hope all of us can feel happy and proud to become a Chniese.
