简介"Hey, Soul Sister"是美国另类摇滚乐队Train新专辑《Save Me San Francisco》当中的首支单曲，于2009年8月发行，在美国摇滚单曲榜上排名40。
在十五年的时间里总共推出了五张专辑，老牌摇滚乐队Train算得上慢工出细活的典范，通常三年磨一剑的速率，也绝对耐得住寂寞。
专辑通过《Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)》一曲，Train拿下了格莱美最佳摇滚歌曲大奖，还有其他大大小小的奖项，从而一举确立了自己的地位。在上一张专辑《For Me, It's You》发行三年之后，Train迟迟推出了他们的全新专辑《Save Me, San Francisco》。在这一回的专辑里，乐队的阵容进行了减缩，成员由原来的五人众缩减到创始之初的Monahan、吉他手Jimmy Stafford 和鼓手 Scott Underwood。要不然，乐队主唱Monahan也不会放话：我们将通过这一张专辑回到从前。看来，轻装上阵的决心并不是空穴来风。
在Train行走的漫长路途中，是成功伴随着曲折的。在《Save Me, San Francisco》当中，他们依旧保有如初始的充足精力，他们在这张专辑里表现了愿意尝试新声音的念头；另一方面仍然保持了一贯的基本节奏，一新一旧的两重元素使得这张新专辑听起来是如此愉快及惊喜。
流行、温暖、悦耳，是《Save Me, San Francisco》给人的初印象。同名歌曲《Save Me, San Francisco》从一开始就懂得如何向听众灌输这类情绪，歌词中唱到““当语言让你不安时/像柴火一样使用他们吧/让它们燃烧””，直接简单，木吉他堆砌的快感，加之呜呼的唏嘘，钢琴隐约的串联，都使得最后的欢呼声不沦为单纯的背景。《Hey, Soul Sister》的出现，像极了某些广告片的歌曲，甚至可以毫不避讳地说倘若Ipod就此拿去，也丝毫不用在意是否与其印象贴切，要知道老乐队也能有如此澎湃的精力。而《BlackWater》、《I Got You》、《Breakfast In Bed》延续了《Hey, Soul Sister》里的新鲜感觉，到《Marry Me》则变得无比柔和，洋溢着糖和阳光。《You Already Know》算是相对另类的一曲，有交响乐般的前奏作为铺垫，在穿越了漫长的星际之后才缓缓降落。《This Ain't Goodbye》的细腻，让人们见识了主唱Monahan对细节的精准拿捏。
对了，Monahan谈到在准备专辑时大致写了六十到八十首歌，如此充足的创作精力，看起来Train的火力正十足，跑得正欢。
