backup Tomcat,Apache, and JRE
close all running applications, especially IE
close Tomcat and Apache services
6、After installing ArcIMS9.1
C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_06\lib\ext has more "jar" package
7、Prepare postInstall ArcIMS9.1
start Tomcat service
start Apache service
8、After finish postinstalling ArcIMS9.1
restart Tomcat and Apache
"C:\Tomcat5028\webapps" has more Web Applications
9、The difference between 9.0 and 9.1
the manage is not installed in the programe menu, u must use the shortcut "manager" in the insatll directory instead of the shortcut in the program menu.
web applications such as: esriadmin,metadataexplore,etc. are installed in Tomcat webapps directory by copy method while using war file in 9.0
