Love MeChapter 1It has been raining heavily for several days. The whole city has been covered with dark clouds. The air is filled with smelly and pungent smell. The thunder shouts loudly as if it wants to ruin down all the buildings in the city. There is no body on the street. No lights are on, too. It seems to be a city that God forgets.The only light comes from the hospital operating room. A baby’s cry breaks the silence, which is like death. Then a woman is pushed out of the operating room with a baby in her arm. After a while, they are settled well and the doctors and nurses all come out. The mother looks very tires. She is gazing the baby warmly though God seems not to like the new life. The husband feels her withered and yellow face gently and makes her sleep gradually. At this time, a thunder shouts and a flash of lightening breaks the glasses of the windows. The baby cries out and the parents wake up; too the father wants to stop the baby from crying. But at this time, the mother screams. Her body shakes and her skin becomes black. The father is shocked by what he has seen. At the meanwhile, the baby is crying loudly and growing up quickly. The cloth wrapping the baby is worn out. In a few minutes, a newborn baby becomes a ten-month baby. He looks at his wife and his baby. He can’t believe what has happened. He stares at these for a long time. Finally, a thunder makes him wake up from the terrible dream. He screams and rushes out of the window madly. He died on the street.After ten minutes, the police come. A thirty-aged police standing ahead seems very experienced and behind him is a beautiful lady with long and black hair. The experienced police look around the room and ask the others to look over carefully. For a while, a long face police comes followed by a doctor. The long face police says something at the ear of him, then speaks to the doctor,“ This is Zhang Sir. He will ask you some questions.” The doctor nods his head friendly to the experienced police and says:“ Thank you for your cooperation. Could you tell me what’s the name of the woman and the man?”“ The woman is called Sarah and the man’s name is Bush. Sarah is a worker at B O chemical factory. And Bush is a teacher at No.1 Middle School. The baby was born at 10:00 this evening. These are the detailing data of them. I’m also very puzzled about this and I have never seen, too.”“Thanks again. I have nothing to ask.”The doctor goes out and the longhaired lady comes. Her eyebrows lock together and she says seriously:“ We must give the woman and the baby a comprehensive examination.”“You are right. Takes them to the station.” The experienced policeman says.Chapter 2At the station, the police are haying an autopsy on the dead woman and the longhaired lady looks after the baby. She puts the baby in a special room, which is separated and transparent. She looks at her watch. It’s 22:00. It’s time to feed the baby last meal. She makes milk, opens the door and enters in. When she is feeding the baby, the experienced policeman comes in with an umbrella.“Dull! It has been raining for five days.” He complains and then asks, “Does the result of the examination come out?” The longhaired lady comes out with the door unlocked.“Yes, we find that Sarah is died of poison. Bush’s sprite was disturbed when he saw those. It caused him to rush out of the 21-story building. And Sam’s blood is poisonous.”“Sam? Who is Sam?”“Oh, I give a name to the baby.”“What did you say just now? Do you mean the baby is poisonous?”“It’s not correct. Sarah worked at B O factory and the factory was shut down last month, because its production process was illegal and polluted seriously. Sarah was effected by the poison and the baby also effected. But now only Sam’s blood is poisonous. It doesn’t mean he is poisonous.”“I’m sorry. I correct what I said.” The experienced policeman takes the result of the examination up and looks at it carefully. Suddenly, a flash of lightening appears and a thunder shouts. Sam cries out loudly. He begins growing and the clothes are worn out. The thunders shout one after another and the lightening gather together at Sam. He screams painfully and grows quickly. The electricity is cut off. And the experienced policeman takes the longhaired lady to escape from the lab. Not for a long time, it’s calm again and the electricity is all right, too. They come bock the lab; there is nobody in the special room.“Sam, where is he?” the longhaired lady asks in a hoarse voice. They look around.“Mum!” A child’s voice comes behind them. They turn back and see a five-year-old child sitting under the table. He gets up and walks towards them. They can’t believe their eyes. The experienced policeman wakes up quickly and shout:“Stand here. Don’t move any more.” Sam is frightened by him and cries out.“Don’t cry, Sam. Mum is here. My dear, go back to your room and I’ll makes milk for you.” The longhaired lady says warmly though she is still frightened. Sam stares at her and then goes back. “You’re mad! It’s a monster!” the experienced policeman shouts to the lady.“He is a child. It’s not his fault. We must help him.”“You’re mad!” the experienced policeman shouts more loudly and then goes out. He doesn’t notice that a pair of eyes are glaring at him.The longhaired lady and the other doctors do further examination for Sam. They find that not only his blood is poisonous, but also his saliva. They don’t know what will happen in future. Most doctors don’t give any hope to Sam. In their opinion, he is a monster. Only the longhaired lady gives him love. She teaches him characters and plays games with him. Sam is very clever. He often has a smile on his face.Another day comes. The longhaired lady is playing games with Sam. At this time, the experienced policeman comes in.“You must be mad! He is a monster.”“Hush! Zhang Sir. I don’t want to quarrel with you as soon as we see. She goes out the special room.“Would you like some drink?” she asks.“A cup of tea.” The experienced policeman replies. The longhaired lady makes a cup of tea and passes it to him. He drinks a bit, then puts it on the table and asks,“What’s going on? What kind of poison in his body?”“Come with me.” The longhaired lady takes him to the computer and they watch the compute carefully.Sam glares at the experienced policeman. Suddenly, he runs out of the room to the cup of the tea and spits a mouth of saliva in the tea, then comes back quickly without being seen. After awhile, they come back to the table. The experienced policeman glance at Sam and Sam is glaring at him, too. He is very onerous, so he takes up the tea and says:“Dull weather! When will it stop raining?”“Yes, the weather has become worse and worse recent years. It’s all our humankind’s fault.” the longhaired lady replies in a low voice. The experienced policeman glares at him. He feels more uncomfortable. He puts the tea to his mouth. When he wants to drink it, Sam rushes out and hits him so strongly that the cup falls down and the tea splits on the table. The table breaks down immediately. The longhaired lady is astonished by these and shouts,“What are you doing? I consider you to be a good child, but you…” She can’t help crying and runs out. The police is frightened seriously and runs out, too. Sam doesn’t know what to do. He comes back to the special room, sitting in a corner and crying.It seems that the rain never wants to atop. At 24:00, it rains more and more heavily. Then a flash of lightening appears again followed by a loud thunder. The longhaired lady wakes up by a scream. She gets up quickly and runs to the lab. In the dark, she feels the button of the light. As soon as the lights are on, she sees a 18-year-old man stands in the room.“Mum!” He speaks in a low and mature vice. The longhaired lady doesn’t know what to do. The only thing she can do is ask him to sleep.“Mum! Don’t forget you have promised me to take me to the Children’s Park tomorrow.” Sam gazes her eagerly “My dear, I won’t forget. Have a good dream!” She says warmly. She is not frightened like before. She has already known how to seal with this.“But mum, I’m afraid you will leave me.” Sam says with tears in his eyes.“Don’t worried! I’ll never leave you. I’ll always stay with you.” Hearing this, Sam sleeps quickly with a sweet smile on his face.Chapter 3The longhaired lady is sitting in a deep thought. There are two pieces of paper on the table. One is the examination result, the other is a command sent by the government. The poison has spread to his skin. He can’t feel and touch anything, so the government decided to die out of him.“What should I do?” she thinks, “I can’t do that.” At this time, Sam comes over.“Mum, what’s the world like outside?” The longhaired lady gazes him warmly and says:“Do you see the flower over there?” She points at the flowers. Sam goes towards them and looks carefully.“Does the world like them?” he can’t help feeling and touching the beautiful flowers. As soon as he feels them, the flowers catch fire immediately and soon become dust.“What’s wrong?” Sam cries.“Yes, long ago, the world is just like the beautiful flowers. But now, it is just like dust.” She speaks with no expression. At this moment, a lot of police break into the lab. At the head is the experienced policeman.“Hurried up! From the backdoor!” the longhaired lady shouts. Though Sam doesn’t know what’s going on, he knows that it’s not good for him. He has no choice. He runs quickly.After a long time, he has been far away from the city, but he can still hear the alarm of the police cars. He is very tired and feels his body is burning. The plants that he touches are all burning and then become dust. He has no way, because at his back is the police and at his front is steep cliff. He stands at the edge of the steep cliff. The police finally come. The experienced policeman says:“Don’t hate us. We are for the humankind.” He makes a gesture. All the police aim at him.“Wait a moment!” The longhaired lady rushes out of the crowds. The experienced policeman wants to stop her, but he doesn’t catch her hands. She runs towards Sam and holds him in arms.“Sam! Don’t frighten! Mum can’t help you, but I won’t leave you. Do you remember what I told you?” the longhaired lady asks and her voice becomes lower and then clothes her eyes.“Mum! Mum!” Sam shouts loudly. At the same time, a thunder shouts, too. People can see nothing because of the bright flash of the lightening. When people can see, there is nothing.All is so calm that makes people frightened. Maybe it is the calm before the storm.Chapter 4The experienced policeman feels very uncomfortable. It’s just like a stone in his heart. He goes to the lab. All is the same. The only difference is that there will never be Sam and the longhaired lady. He goes to the table and sees that a letter is on it.Dear friends, March the 13th, 2300When you see this letter, I may be in heaven. But I must tell these to the humankind. Don’t pollute the earth any more. The earth is our homeland. Without earth, where will we be? Without the fresh environment, we mustn’t lose love, either. Love is great. We should love and help each other and make the polluted earth green and beautiful together!
