Three Wishes Sarah
June wind blew through the field gently, then hide behind a big white tree in front of a small pool. Three fellows were lying under the tree. They were going to leave junior school and prepare for the examination of senior school. They often went there to hear the birds sing, watch the fish swimming and smell the perfume of the flowers. Sarah was a lovely gird. She could often bring happiness to others. She was interested in everything. Henry was a handsome clever boy. He had polite behavior and humorous sense. He was good at solving difficult problems. Opposite to Sarah, Mary was a quite girl. She was very weak so that she could never play sports with others. The only thing she was happy to do was to watch Sarah and Henry playing and hear their laughing. The naughty wind blew again and took the perfume of the flowers everywhere. It made the three fellows recall the memory together without dating.
They had been friends when they were little children. Henry and Sarah was guardian of Mary. Especially Sarah, wherever Mary was, Sarah must be there. They studied together and played together. Henry was also problem solver of Sarah. Whenever Sarah made trouble, Henry must be the only person who could help her and henry would toughed and felt her long hair every time after solving the trouble. Sarah liked that feeling and she liked lying on him. Maybe it was the reason why she made so much trouble. Gradually, Sarah found a small difference. If Henry was here, there must be a sweet smile on Mary’s face and she looked healthier than ever. Mary was Sarah’s best friend. Her greatest wish was to bring Mary happiness and health everyday. So she must forget that felling and no longer lying on Henry. Thinking of that, there was a pain in her heart. After that she was no longer a troublemaker. Now, they were going to high school, then university. How would be the future like?
A small fallen leaf fell on Sarah’s face waked her up from the memory. She waked up Mary and Henry and asked them to write down their greatest wishes. Then they buried the three wishes under the big white birch tree, dated to meet here and read the three wishes ten years later. How time flies! Ten years had passed. Sarah became an international tourist guide and visited many beautiful places in the world. But none of them was more beautiful than here. The June wind was still gentle. The tree was still big. The birds were still singing. The fishes were still swimming and the flowers were still perfume. She came to the tree. There was nobody. She found out the three wishes. The first one was hers. It said:” I hope Mary can be happy and healthy every day.” The second one was Henry’s with the words” I like Mary as my sister. I love Sarah as if my life. My greatest wish is to marry Sarah and live with her forever.” Reading that, Sarah couldn’t help bursting into tears. Then, she read the third wish of Mary. It said:” I love Sarah and Henry. I hope that Sarah and Henry will be happy every day. Best wishes for you, my dear friends.” Sarah held the three wishes tightly and pressed them on her heart with tears flowing on her face, dropping on her hands. At this time, a pair of big and warm hands was put on her shoulders. It was Henry. He looked at Sarah and Sarah looked at him.“You have read It.,” said Sarah. Henry nodded his head.“How about Mary? Did she come?”“No, she will never come.”Tears flew again on Sarah’s face, but this time dropped into Henry’s heart. The June wind blew again and took three wishes to the furthest sky.
