I am proud of being a Chinese.A philosopher has ever said that only a nation with deep inside information can be a promising, unyielding nation. I agree. The nation has gone through approximately 5,000 years’ difficulties and hardships, has created the profound oriental civilization. Nowadays, the Chinese people are creating more and more miracles, exhibiting their brand new scenes. These facts made me firmly believed that the Chinese nation is an imperishable, promising enterprising nation. I am very proud of being a Chinese.
When it comes to China, people usually speak of the Great Wall, because it is a symbol and honor of China. Its towering, grand, unyielding spirit encourages people generation after generation. Looking around, everywhere is full of thriving and vigor, no wonder people admire the great innovator Mr. Deng Xiaoping for his strategic policy of China’s opening-up and reform. We can see people bubbling with confidence and fortitude, and lots of Chinese peoples living outside come back one after another, thus foreign countries are watching our country with new eyes. China is becoming the focus of the world. Hong Kong returns to the embrace of our homeland successfully for the implement of “One country, two systems” and “the Hong Kong governs Hong Kong”. People will never forget the 50th birthday on Oct.1st, 1999, all the people are cheering with unique method for the unusual experience of our nation. The three troops dominated by air force firstly celebrated with the most advanced equipment. Besides, in Dec. 20th, 1999, the Macao will also return to the embrace of our homeland.
Every time imagining the exciting time when Hong Kong returned to our homeland, my heart is always beating fast. Oh, my mother, you are so wide, deep and fiery that everybody would not leave even for half step. I should struggle continuously for your strength and prospect; oh, my mother, I am cheering for you, for the return of Hong Kong, for the return of Macao, for the return of Taiwan!
