The town of Bolton

Bolton lies in the middle of the UK and is near the city of Manchester, I study here. It is my first time to UK, so I start to know the UK from living Bolton. You can find many churches and pubs in Bolton, I think that these two things are best representations of British culture. You would comprehend the loyalty of the people as Christians if you were in church. I don't know about pubs because I havn't yet been to any since coming here. I think that maybe I can tell you later what kind of feeling is in the pubs. I like these churches and bars in Bolton, but by contrast I prefer to talk about the people in Bolton. You can see lots of people in the town centre when it's good weather because the people in UK like nice weather very much. I think that this habit maybe result from the rainy climate. In the sunshine, you can find old couples sitting on chairs together and talking with each other, young ladies walking their lovely dogs and children playing with pigeons. All of these things are very beautiful. Also perhaps you can obtain something which you can't get in big cities in the UK, for example freshair, you can breathe freely from day to night. I also like to focus on the local young people because i am a young peroson too. First of all I have to say there are so many fat people here, especially fat girls. I don't know why, but I think that maybe the problem is a result of over-eatting. In Morrisons supermarket I saw a very fat girl in a wheel chair. It is a great pity. I think maybe being fat is also a sort of beauty in Bolton, in the UK, but i am not sure about that. I always pay attention to young people when i come to a new place, because you can find the latest local fashion from them. I notice the young people in Bolton like earrings very much, most young people no matter male or female, all have at least one earring in their ears, some of them have several earrings in their ears and they seem monstrous in my eyes, but maybe because of i am old-fashioned. My second discovery is those girls who like to wear short clothes which enable them to bare their navels. It is very popular among young girls in the Bolton. I can appreciate their beautiful navels , but at the same time i worry about their health. :) My third discovery is potatoes. People in the UK have an enthusiasm for potatoes. In morrisons supermarket, you can find many local people buying sack of potatoes. But to me, this is not a good thing, because i do not like potatoes very much. In China, I only eat potatoes two or three times in one month. And finally, I think there are many new and brilliant things in Bolton that I need to discover.
