I'm glad you posted this as a root article. I hope all the friends read it and
take it to heart.
The fact is that none of us can be sure that the others here are exactly what they claim to be. Of course, Uncle Ben has met Dove, so Ben and I and Dove know that we are who we claim to be. David is my brother and has met quite a few of the forum members. He knows them to be really who they claim to be. He has also
met dear Jenny16 so Ben and I know through him that she is who she says she is.
Ben and I have talked by phone by Dave36, and we have exchanged personalmail and so on. I am quite convinced of Dave's being who he says he is.
Many of you know David personally, so you know that I am his sister, and Uncle Ben is his brother-in-law, and you can count on that.
However, it is always wise to remember, as Winged Heart has mentioned, that
there can be others kinds of people on the internet, especially in chat rooms.
You really have no idea to whom you are talking when you are there. Be very careful, just as Winged Heart is.
Don't ever go by yourself to meet anyone you meet on the internet. Always go with friends. Meet in a neutral place, not where you live. There are other such
safety rules.
Here in the West the police have departments for observing chat rooms. Sometimes they set traps by pretending to be exactly the kind of person that is vulnerable. Often enough the bait works and they trap a very evil person.
Please don't let yourself become a victim, dead or alive. Remember you don't want to become sold as any kind of a slave, either.
Terrible things can happen. Take care of yourselves, dear friends. This applies to both boys and men and girls and women. All kinds have become victims. But
it applies even more to girls and women.
