Yao is back and he couldn't have come back at a
better time! After playing nearly 30 games with out our All-Star
center YaoMing, it is great to have him back on the floor.
He broke his leg in December and most people thought that our team
would crumble without Yao and the season would be lost. I am proud
of the way that our team responded when Yao got hurt. We always
believed that we could still be a good basketball team if we played
hard and played together. In the NBA, sometimes that is all you
need to be a competitive basketball team. Our record was 20-12
without Yao in the lineup which is very good.
Dikembe Mutombo and Juwan Howard should
be applauded for their play while Yao was out. There is no doubt
that they elevated their games and made it possible to still win
many games. Both Dikembe and Juwan are as professional as they come
and they are always diligently prepared to play.
The Rockets haven't played our best
basketball as of late and we are going through a rough patch that
all teams go through at one point or another during the season but
getting Yao back will elevate our team. We are currently in fifth
place in the Western Conference, but we are more concerned with
playing good basketball and not with what our current standing
is.
It will take a few games for Yao to
redevelop his rhythm. It is very difficult to miss thirty games and
return at peak shape. It is very fortunate that Yao is a tireless
worker and will do everything in his power to return to full
strength and lead us to the playoffs.
It is a very exciting time!

虽然姚回来了，但是我们的球队却没能回到一个更好的状态上！在经历了30多场没有全明星球员姚明的比赛之后，看到他的回归，真得让人非常的高兴。他在11月的时候左腿受伤，很多人都认为我们的球队要崩溃了，本赛季就这样完了。但是，在姚明修养的这段日子里面，我们球队用行动做出了回应，我为此感到骄傲。只要我们能够团结在一起全力的去付出，我始终相信我们仍然是一支优秀的球队。在这个联盟里面，你需要成为一支有竞争力的球队，没有姚明的日子里我们取得了20胜12负的战绩，这已经非常好了。
穆托姆博和霍华德在离开姚明的日子里的表现都非常的好，毫无疑问，很多比赛就是因为有了他们才取得了最后的胜利。他们是如此的职业，总是很认真很勤奋的为比赛做着准备。
火箭近期的表现不是很好，我们正在经历所有球队在每个赛季都会遇到的一个艰难时期。但是姚明的回归会给我们带来激励。现在我们排在西部第五，但是我们更关心的是怎么打出好的比赛，而不是自己现在所处的名次。
姚明恢复自己的状态还需要一段时间，让一个缺席了30多场比赛的人立刻就回到巅峰状态，那是不切实际的。所幸，姚明总是那么不知疲倦，他做着自己所能做到的努力，去回复最好的状态，并且带领我们冲向季后赛。
这是一个令人兴奋的时刻！
