Leon is ten years old, has lots of problems and an overly fertile imagination. Of course, there is Mom and Dad who are always fighting, and those annoying neighbors who get to spend the summer at the beach. And then, there's Lea, the exasperating girl who's always right about everything. In the summer of '68, when Mom decides to leave everything behind to start a new life in Greece, Leon is prepared to do anything to kill the pain. Destroy the neighbors' house, become a professional liar and even, why not, fall in love with Lea. Together, they will overcome the pain of growing up when you feel abandoned.

魁北克的独立电影《C'est pas moi, je le jure》（It's Not Me, I Swear），说的是问题儿童Léon儘管有著许多古怪行径，却依然保有著最纯真的渴望：母爱。
这看起来是个相当严肃的话题，这部片的步调其实是相当轻快詼谐的，只是在男主角Léon种种逗人的行为下，隐藏的是另一个含蓄忧伤的童年。
《It's Not Me, I Swear》的题材有点像《囧男孩》，但是这部片更出色的地方是它起承转合、一气呵成的剧情，而不光是将一系列可爱的童言童语拼凑在一起。不过这部片也黑暗的多。影片中，Léon不管是为了避免惩罚或是赢得父母注意，不惜用自残的方式来博得同情。一开始这些手还有些无厘头，影片看到后来，他自残的方式则是开始变得吓人。
两个星期前的长周末一口气看了六部电影，其中两部是冷到不行的indie film。《It's Not Me, I Swear》是一部，另外一部更冷，但也是关於小孩子。这个星期在学校完成最后一个星期的课业，之后再回来补上感想。(转自宋胖)

电影里面的小男孩里奥是个问题小孩，弄得他妈妈都没办法，只能对他说＂it is bad to lie but it is worse to lie badly＂，这个画家妈妈在美术上没什么天分，在扮演母亲角色的方面就更显得不称职了，她缺乏对里奥正面的引导和规劝。父亲是个关注人权的律师，讽刺的是，他对于生活在他身边的“人”却很少关心。夫妻两个人经常争吵，而里奥发现缓解这种家庭矛盾的方法就是制造出更大的麻烦，这样全家人就会暂时团结起来解决问题——比如他把被单点着，然后一面装着害怕的样子，一面享受在他精心的计划中。
最终母亲离开了他们，去了希腊。里奥一心想要去希腊找母亲，为了攒路费，他只想到了偷的办法。他的哥哥表面上十分恨母亲，很理解父亲的困难处境，但是他在内心其实也是受着煎熬，他不过是想要过一种最normal(正常)的生活，不希望听到别人总是风言风语地议论自己。他是在和现实的妥协中，忍受着内心痛苦的感受。
里奥的小演员表演得非常到位，一个十岁的孩子能把人物表现到这个地步，已经相当不错了！另外，电影中营造的上个世纪六十年代加拿大魁北克市郊的感觉，也颇有特色，整体的感觉和《革命之路（The Revolutionary Road）》里面颇为相似，服装和布景都是那个年代的感觉。 (来自: 牛奶花生糖@豆瓣)
