As common as him ,i still miss him so much.
He is from jilin province ,as the only child in tha family that his parents think the world of .
He was very quiet as he was a child ,but good at basketball .His face usually
got red as he talked with strangers. Of couse, he knew how to fight ,he was punished to stand facing the wall .No one comprehended why he never cried. Actually
,he was a sensetive boy.
He went to school earlier than other same-aged children.So he was just twenty
years old when he gratuated form university.He had to face actuality ,in real life,it was as difficult as other common people to find a nice job .For the sake
of a sweet job in the future ,he made a decision firmly, joining army.
He arrived in Tibet aftet serveral days .
Different air ,sky and life ,he had been at a loss about what to do and how to
do . From then on ,he must manage on his own .
There months later ,he felt like a real soldier. During the drill ,he had crid
,sure ,he told nobody, it was a secret for a adult. He kept writting a letter
each week ,he found out that he missed his family so badly.
Nearly every young soldier had a radio ,althrough it was not allowed.He had a
mini radio too. He did not know then that what would happen to him later on over
that radio.
Finally ,he heard a girl's voice,the girl's voice sounded pure and full of beans. She said she was managing to write a song ,and she wished to know a person who could help her write the song .She left her telephone number in the end .
Somehow he could not help calling that girl.It was the first time he had such
a pleasant conversation with a strange girl, and his face was red all through the course, nervous and cheerful at the same time.
He was not sure if she had a good feeling about him .Her personality was completely different from him ,alway happy and lovely, retaining a childlike sense of
wonder. He enjoyed hearing her speak word after word ,it seemed that she always
had endless topics, and somehow he felt he would never been sick of that ,and the time always silpped away so fast .
They wrote each other letters every week ,he was so excited as he received a letter from her .He was aware something between them was chaning quietly. Undoubtedly, he had fell in love even he had never seen of her .
But the girl never talked about love with him ,she became quieter and quieter
,"you cute fool ,"alaway the same answer.
He said ,"it is raining outside, i am reading your letters over and over by the window ,i felt so sweet ,it seems that , i could see so many stars around me,
"
He said ,"i will buy all the green tea in the world ,they will be for you ,beeause it is you favourate drink ,i like it too ."
He said ,"i telephoned my mother this morning ,i told her i would't wear leather shoes when i married ,i know you don't like it too ,what do you think of the
idea ?"
He was shocked when he saw the girl's dark and big eyes . That was what he wanted.
They kept silent for a while ,it was the first time to meet and also the last
.
The girl told him that she had a boyfriend in a general way ,she just took him
for a common friend .He did not know if so, why she asked him to hold her ,and
she was crying clearly.
His heart was full of sadness ,he wondered if he was crying insidetoo.As soon
as tears came to his eyes ,he hold the girl as tight as he could .
He kissed the girl desperately ,which was the first kiss in his life ,then ran
away immediately.
He was demobilized in one month' time.
He reached hometown in winnter.
Familiar air ,familiar sunshine ,he found himself back ,he would have a fresh
start ,the past had just become a memory ,he would forget the girl someday and for ever.
I met him in 2002,and i will miss him in the rest of my life.
If only he is happy , it was my genuine wish.
He has the nicest voice that i have ever heard ,or shall ever hear.
I never tell him i love him more than i can say .
