孟金陵，男，1948年4月出生，河南开封人，博士生导师，教授，研究方向为植物发育生物学、油菜遗传育种。
职务：湖北省遗传学会常务理事，《作物学报》、《分子植物育种》、《武汉植物学研究》和《中国油料学报》杂志编委，国际芸薹属植物基因组项目咨询小组成员（Member of Steering Group for the Multinational Brassica Genome Project ）

曾获国家教委科技进步奖和农业部科技进步奖，国家教委和国务院学位委员会“有突出贡献的中国博士学位获得者”，农业部“有突出贡献的中青年专家”，国家科技部“863项目先进个人”等荣誉。获国家发明专利：利用白菜型油菜与甘蓝型油菜基因组间杂种优势的方法。
