Facelets 是一个以JavaServer Faces支持作为工业标准的 轻量级的模版框架。任何人就像创建一个jsp页面一样可以使用Facelets 和类似 XML-tag的标签。不同之处在于其强大外表的下面，它去除了所有jsp提供的api带来的负担以更大的增强作为平台的JSF，并提供了简单的可插入式开发，不需要任何JSP标签的开发就能够和JSF整合。
