来自曼谷的一份报告显示：三星将继续扩张自己在泰国的业务，虽然对当地的民族风俗、政治习惯都不是很熟悉。三星的此项计划中也包括在Chon Buri增加电冰箱产品的生产能力。
三星，韩国电子和家电生产企业的巨人，将会投资1.2亿泰铢（约300万美元）在Si Racha冰箱产品的生产和升级上，以提供出两种新的冰箱模型。目前，440升和400升的两种冰箱模型已经计划在06年6月生产了，新的生产线将会有50000的单位生产能力，其中90%的产品都将出口到国外。
Samsung Expands Fridge Production in Thailand
Samsung will continue to expand its business in Thailand despite political uncertainties, including adding more refrigerator production capability in Chon Buri, according to a Bangkok Post report.
Samsung, the South Korean electronics and home appliances giant, will invest 120 million baht (approx. U.S. $3 million) on refrigerator manufacturing upgrades in Si Racha in order to accommodate two new refrigerator models. Production on the 440-liter and 400-liter models is expected to start in June. The new line will have a capacity of about 50,000 units, about 90 percent of which will be exported.
