《胖子的天空》（Huge）是一部伪纪录片，故事讲述一群体型过胖的年轻人在减肥训练营中生活、友谊和爱情。
Willanina（Nikki Blonsky）在父母的强迫下进入减肥训练营进行「锻炼」。在训练营正式开始前的「训前留影」活动中，Willamina给其他人留下了「深刻」的印象。但是Willamina很不老实，不仅偷偷把大批糖果糕点带进训练营，还公开向同学们兜售。训练营的负责人Rand医生发现此事后，决定对 Willamina施以惩戒。
与Willamina不一样，Amber（Hayley Hasselhoff）要听话得多。她对训练营的种种承诺满怀希望，但事情却不像她想象的那样简单。与其他胖女孩比起来，她不仅性格更好，而且更漂亮，所以受到同学们的追捧。历来受人歧视的Amber一下子变成了别人眼里的「明星」，这让她不知所措。与此同时，Willamina心仪的男孩Ian（Ari Stidam）也对Amber表示出好感，这让Willamina很不痛快。Willamina暗暗与Amber较上了劲。

It's based on a book by Sasha Paley, and is being developed by Winnie Holzman, who wrote the stage adaption of “Wicked”, among other amazing stuff, and her daughter Savannah Dooley. We love it in a "Huge" way.
