据我的了解，最早这个软件叫Seagate Backupexex；后来独立出来后，改名为Veritas Backupexec，Windows内的NTBackup，其实就是超级简化版；几年前，Veritas被Symantec收购，因此这个产品的名字更改为Symantec BackupExec。
我使用过的版本有：7.3；8.6；9.1；10.1；11D；12.5；13(2010)和2010R2。
