The adventures of the U.S.S. STAR TREK 是 Gene Roddenbery 在1966年所创造的一部影集，以二十三世纪的星舰企业号（ ENTERPRISE ）为主轴， 描述其在广袤宇宙中探寻各种文明与各种未知生命形式的奇旅。 在广为星迷所知的 KIRK 舰长登舰之前，企业号一度由 PIEK 舰长导（ 1965 THE CAGE ）。 在 WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE 记录中， 才由 KIRK 舰长接手。 科学官 Spock 也正式兼任大副（可怜的 numberone 变成了 nurse ）
第一代的 STAR TREK （ST:TOS）一共制播了三季７９集（1966-1969）。77年时在台首播，译名为星际争霸战。87、88年间，台视曾重播第三季部份影集。今年（1995）卫视合家欢台将第一代的影集（先以香港译名星空奇遇，後来改作星际争霸战）从头至尾播了一次。
