2009年2月18日，Aotodesk正式向媒体公布了今年即将上市的制造业2010系列软件，让我们看看其中关于Alias 2010的一些信息。
全新的产品线
Alias 2010产品线全新整合，并且重新使用“Alias”为产品名称，以前的AliasStudio、DesignStudio、SurfaceStudio 等不再使用，取而代之的是更加具有市场针对性的AliasDesign、AliasSurface以及AliasAutomotive，分别针对产品设计、曲面设计以及汽车设计三大市场。
全新的价格
除了最高端的 Automotive外，Alias其他两款产品价格下调，尤其是Design，增强的功能和削减的价格，使之一跃成为市场上最具性价比的高级曲面建模工具之一。
Mac平台支持
Alias 2010系列产品是其跨越平台的又一大里程碑，上一次是从SGI移植到Windows，这回则是涉足Mac平台，两个平台并驾齐驱。并且Mac版的Alias 2010将拥有Windows版的所有功能，两者预计将于四月初同时发售。
方便高效的导航工具
在Aotodesk其他软件中得到成功推广的ViewCube工具也被集成到Alias 2010之中，使你在三维空间中的摄像机操作及书签设置更加方便快捷。
可视化工具增强
一个包含超过250种材质与贴图的全新材质库将与大家见面，并且其同Showcase之间可以实现无缝连接。
快速成型（三维打印）
导出快速成型的流程得到相当大的改善，并且在STL的基础上，还加入了ZPR格式的支持（用于Z-corp.的快速成型机），甚至还支持材质与纹理的导出。
DWF输出
DWF是Aotodesk的一种适合网上传输的轻量级三维模型格式，可以方便的使用email发送并在免费的Design Review中查看和标注，方便远距离的团队合作。
Alias Surface及Alias Automotive
高级曲面工具增强
一些高级曲面工具得到进一步的改进，以使高级模型师能更加方便自由地创建出A级曲面。
多样性建模流程
NURBS建模和三维扫描数据的结合使用，并在得到曲面后对比评估。部分Mesh工具进一步升级改进，使Mesh操作更加高效。
对称性建模
全新的对称性建模工具，大大缩减在创建对称模型时所花费的时间和精力。
