In one big interactive diet-a-long, viewers will be able to follow the example of serial dieter Anna for the two week diet-a-long to shift the excess pounds. She is joined by six ladies keen to trim up their tums and buff up their bingo wings – the Chalfont Chubbies. A group of friends from Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire, the ladies aged 27 - 50 attack the new diet regime head on in a bid to slip into their smaller sizes in just two weeks.
As well as leading the diet, Anna sets up the calorie counting 100 Club. An exclusive 100 Club pop up shop will be conceived where products are package in 100 calorie portions, and instead of the till displaying the price, it’ll count up the calories. Anna hopes to shock her dieting divas with the true calorie content of their food and encourage the switch to healthier options.
And to prove it’s not a diet of depravation England rugby star and winner of Celebrity Masterchef, Matt Dawson, will be cooking up skinny girl treats including curry, fish and chips and tiramisu.
Anna also busts some of the myths about the diet industry, and investigates how the food industry encourages shoppers to buy unhealthy products with supermarket offers and bargain deals.
And food addicts reveal why they are obsessed with certain foods, as a clinical psychologist unmasks the detrimental realities behind their faddy eating.
