东方快车是一列非常有名的列车，从伊斯坦布尔始发，最终到达巴黎，沿途美景无数，据说已在70年代停开，那么这部电影应该也是在70年代或者以前拍的。影片随着列车的行进把观众带进风景秀丽的法国南部，然后到达巴黎，在欣赏法国迷人风光的同时，故事一点点展开，其中有爱情的甜蜜，也有分手后刻骨铭心的愁苦，十年之后重逢的惊讶与矛盾，到最后有情人终成眷属。虽然是一部爱情片，情节也有点简单老套，但导演对镜头和故事讲述方法的运用自如，演员的精湛演技再加上浪漫的法国使整部电影蒙上了梦幻般的色彩，在观众心头挥之不去。
