Geographical Locations of the Estates The Tuscany estates are located in the region’s main wine producing districts, with a total surface area of over 4,000 hectares. The main offices are located at the Palazzo Frescobaldi in the center of Florence.
The most prestigious and renowned estates are: Castello di Pomino, Castello di Nipozzano, Castel Giocondo and Castiglioni. 1998 saw the acquisition of Santa Maria estate in the Morellino di Scansano district of the Grosseto province. The other historic estates are Remole, Massariccia, Corte, and Valiano.
Tasting Note
Color An enticing, rather pronounced ruby red, edged with garnet.
Aromas Its suite of fragrances exhibits considerable complexity, opening to dark fruit such as plum and blackcurrant, then enriched by a pungent spiciness that betrays cinnamon and clove.
Taste The attack offers dense, impressive pulp, and fine-grained tannins that marry beautifully with its alcohol; wine with a seamless, long-lingering finish.
