文信家族30年来均在霍奇湾以农业及葡萄种植为主。同时在1986年创立了圣山酒厂，并在短短的时间内由小地方渐渐变成新西兰著名的出产佳酿的酒厂。酒厂名Sacred Hill起源于毛利语Puketapu，意思就是圣山，一个小村庄临近于文信家族的产业。
圣山无论在酒厂及葡萄园品质控制方面均十分严格。同时运用其熟练的技术，将传统及现代的酿酒技术融合，他们酿出高品质的葡萄酒的声誉是勿庸质疑的。
这家葡萄酒厂制造三种酒，白壁、女皇珍藏和旗舰系列。白壁葡萄酒制造比较特别的品种，很能反应Hawkes Bay的气候特征。女皇珍藏系列是具有价格竞争力且品质佳的葡萄酒，是在Hawkes Bay和Marlborough地带里特殊的葡萄园里酿造而成的。

The Mason Family has been farming and grape growing in Hawkes for over 30 years and established the Sacred Hill Winery in 1986. The Winery has experienced tremendous growth from its small beginnings and it has become one of the most exciting boutique wineries of New Zealand. The name, “Sacred Hill” is derived from the translation of “Puketapu” (meaning sacred hill in Maori), the small village, close to the Mason Family property. Bay
Sacred Hill's strong commitment to quality, both in the winery and the vineyard and deft ability to combine traditional and modern winemaking techniques has meant Sacred Hill has built a reputation for producing hand-made quality wines of distinction.
The winery produces three ranges of wine-Whitecliff Estate, Regional Reserve range and Special Selection range. The Whitecliff Estate range of wines produces eminently affordable varietals that reflect hawkes’s superb climate fro grape growing. The RedionalReserveRange of wines is a selection of competitively priced, premium quality wines, made from specific vineyards in Hawkes and Marborough regions.
