Her early travels led to a deep love for Asian cultures and, after a stint as a documentary filmmaker in China, she left the U.K. definitively in 1990. After 8 years working in the heady corporate world in China and Hong Kong, she relocated to Bangkok to focus on her first love, travel writing. As a writer and photographer, she has since worked in over 56 countries. She currently lives on the Chao Phraya river overlooking the Temple of Dawn.
