SWAN LAKE, one of the most loved classical ballets, has been in the repertory of companies around the world since the last century.

Natalia Makarova is dazzling in the dual role of Odette-Odile in this productioon staged by former Royal Ballet principal dancer, David Blair. Set to the legendary Tchaikovsky score, it is based on the critically acclaimed Petipa/Ivanov version produced ofr the Maryinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg in 1895.

This presentation was taped during a "Live From lincoln Center" broadcast from the New York Stat Theater, Lincoln Center On June 30, 1976.
