In addition,she has written twenty-five picture books,including Tyrannosaurus Tex and Pie's in the Oven.The World According to Humphrey was her first middle-grad novel.
A native of St.Louis,Missouri,Betty G.Birney lives in Los Angeles with her husband,an actor,and son(when he's not away at college).
