内容简介《功能语法导论》(第3版)是M.A.K.Halliday介绍功能语法理论的经典学术著作，自1985年第一版出版以来，就成为国内外许多大学讲授功能语法的基本教科书。本书是M.A.K.Haliday与Christian Matthiessen对第二版进行广泛修订后推出的第三版，与上一版相比，第三版的更新主要体现在：1.增加了系统网络的内容。语言是系统的系统。作为功能语法的主要支柱，系统语法的内容在第3版获得凸现。2.从小句描写走向语篇分析。系统功能语法不同于以句子为描写对象的形式语法或转换生成语法，它把语篇作为分析目标。3.基于语料库的论述。韩礼德对语料库的研究外感兴趣，也一直试图把这个领域的内容用到他的语言研究中。4.理论的修订与扩展。第3版在章节安排上进行了调整，加减少了句子成分的内容，为系统网络和语篇的描写和分析提供了空间。
