well,it all depend on your attitude toward study, if you can manage yourself well ,possess high self-descipline the internet will probable not has a negtive impact on your study,it may help you to get insight of the net. But if you're low self monitoring ,you will probably get indulge in the web surfing,that's will creat serious problem. Put simply,if you can separate the relationship between study and leisure, so internet won't be the obstacle on your way to success.good,have no benefition too.
