through和throughtout都是介词，一般后接名词或者名词性短语作状语。
through一般表示“穿过...”,“通过...”
比如：

throughout一般表示“整个...”
比如：
throughtout the night(整夜)
throughout his life (他的一生)
through指的是“从一端到另一端，贯穿”的意思，是“线的”概念

throughout指的是“进入，覆盖了每一个角落，部分”，是“面的”概念
