基本资料
个人简介1959年终凭超级史诗巨片《宾虚》荣获奥斯卡影帝桂冠。70年代他又推出了包括《猿人星球》、《大地震》、《中途岛》等商业大片，亦树立了其银幕超级硬汉形象。1977年荣获奥斯卡人道主义大奖。80年代他多以拍电视为主，主演了史诗剧集《王朝》。1989年应北京人民艺术剧院之邀前来执导话剧《哗变》。还曾任美国电影学院院长。至90年代仍偶有客串演出，并以其浑厚的嗓音在幕后担任配音和旁白工作。他最近的一部电影是2003年的《我的父亲》[1]。
2008年4月5日，查尔顿·赫斯顿在比佛利山庄的家中辞世，享年84岁。
