《战神3》对应PS3平台，欧美版预定2010年03月16日发售，日版预定2010年03月25日发售。
关于《战神3》的新闻是越来越夸张了，不但没有游戏安装，全即时演算CG，35G超大容量以外。根据Sony Santa Monica的技术指导Christer Ericson宣称：游戏中将会甚少出现Loading画面，这样玩家便能在10个小时以上的连续游戏中得到更好的游戏体验。好吧，也许等奎托斯杀了神，本作也真要成神了……
此外，据消息称《战神3》总共有36个奖杯。据一向奖杯的惯例，还有16个隐藏奖杯通常都是跟剧情模式有关而且都是不可能错过的。剩下的两个奖杯可能就是跟隐藏要素有关了，比如像《战神》初代里面的缪斯之门一类的东东。
