New coverage includes the hazards of radiation exposure to children, an emphasis on MRI and ultrasonography for cardiac images, high-resolution computed tomography images for respiratory disease, a chapter on abdominal trauma, the use of MRI on bone and soft tissue neoplasms, and a chapter on child abuse. The chapters are authored and organized by organ systems, anatomy, and pathology, with initial chapters in each section providing an overview to the system or field.
