Presentation of the programme
The programme in Media Management will provide students with knowledge and understanding of the multidisciplinary field of media management, encompassing media technology and its basic components as well as market studies, business development, organization and economics. The programme will provide a broad knowledge of the entire field, but also in-depth knowledge of specific subfields as well as an understanding of current research and development work within the field. The programme also includes advanced methodological knowledge. This is a joint multidisciplinary programme between KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm School of Economics. The two schools will market the programme separately, but the selection of students will be a joint effort. Students with a background in Economics must apply to the programme through the Stockholm School of Economics.
