It's Destiny, Isn't It? To dear David and everyone here
At last David’s leaving is coming to be true, I have always wished that it would not be coming. I was told this several months ago, and I have been wishing that maybe something would happen to prevent it from coming. But…Just as Dove had said, this is life. Just as the clouds in the sky, sometimes they come to together; sometimes they go away from each other. No one arranges this except God. so, it must be destiny, isn’t it?
When I had already recited three months’ daily English words, I tried to enter into English chatting room to practise it. And fortunately, I met Linda there and was ushered by her to join this big family. By my poor English, at that time I didn’t dare to put any essay here, under her encouragement, I nerved myself to make a greeting here. To my surprise, I got a lot warm and friendly welcome. That really heartened me a lot. From then, I come to like coming here to read these excellent articles, losing interest in entering elsewhere. It’s destiny, isn’t?
A few days later, I nerved myself to post my first English essay, About Classical Guitar, here. Although it’s really unskillful and limited, I even interrupted the essay with few Chinese, which I can’t find the suitable English counterparts. Obviously, David saw I had done my best, and enthusiastically gave me two stars. What’s more, he gave me his correction copy. David might do this in businesslike, he would never know how much glad and excited and touched I was when I was reading his copy. He gave me his correction copy on my second essay, which is about musical instruments, too. How kind he is! As I know he gives his comments on almost every essay and article. It’s not easy, but a hard work. Under his introduce, I also get a lot of help from dear Auntie Mary. They are in Canada, while I am in a common town of China, but we are sharing the same feeling, the same progress. It’s destiny, isn’t it?
This family does record all my progress though it’s so slight. It’s a family but more than a family. It’s destiny, isn’t it?
All good things must come to an end. Out of ending comes new life, this is life, this is destiny, isn’t it?
David, there is an ancient Chinese saying which says, God would award those who do good, whereas would punish those who do evil. You will get the award because you deserve it.
David, we would read your comments as often as now after your leaving, right? We would share our woe and weal together, right? I would go on learning from you, right? It’s OUR destiny, isn’t it?
Constant Panpanpan.
