序言为了适应高职高专英语类专业人才培养模式和课程体系改革的形势,满足高职高专英语口语教学的迫切需要,根据教育部高等学校高职高专英语类专业教学指导委员会关于《高等学校高职高专英语专业目录》的精神,结合高职高专英语教学的实际,我们组织编写了高职高专英语专业立体化系列教材之一《英语口语教程》,供广大高职高专英语专业师生教学使用。该套教材共分三册,第一册和第二册为基础阶段口语教材,第三册为专业阶段口语教材,分为商务英语口语方向和旅游英语口语方向。《英语口语教程3·旅游英语》,共10个单元。每单元涉及-个主题,包括五个模块。
1.第-个模块为Starting up(热身模块)。这-模块主要提供了与主题相关的口语热身活动。
2.第二个模块为Skills Development(技能拓展模块)。这-模块提供了4篇示范对话和与主题相关的重点语句表达,目的是让学生了解本单元主题中经常涉及到的语言结构和功能用法,同时提供情景供学生模仿学习。这是-个语言输入的操练模块,要求学生在熟悉角色内容的基础上和同伴进行口语对话练习。

We do not put Chinese students into the same class. Each class consists of students from different countries so that they can only use English.
B: That's a good way to practice their language. Where will they stay in the evening?
A: They will stay in some local home-stay families who have a lot of experience with foreign students. All those families are reliable and enjoy good reputations for treating foreign students well.
